The Lake Travis Residence by Hsu Office features an elongated roof that stretches much farther out than most designs. Underneath the roof is a deck area, which is ideal for those looking to sit outside even in the rain.
This butterfly roof structure is quite a dominating feature of the entire design. It also helps that before the deck, the wall is completely made out of glass, making everything jutting out look that much bigger. The rest of the design is made from quite natural materials, including wood and stone, making this house blend beautifully into its surroundings. Inside the design is also quite spacious, featuring plenty of open-concept spaces instead of smaller rooms, which tend to make everything look slightly cramped. The view of the Lake Travis Residence looks out over the water, adding another pro to this already stunning abode.
