In an effort to support the frontline workers battling COVID-19, intimate brand Knix is helping secure over 100,000 units of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to keep Canadian frontline workers safe. Currently, due to the global pandemic, there is a shortage of this life-saving equipment as countries around the world scramble to prepare for the onslaught of cases in their hospitals.
To provide and distribute these PPE units, the brand launched a GoFundMe campaign that reached over $80,000 in less than a week. Included in the 100,000 units is 20,000 N95 masks, 30,000 surgical masks and 50,000 gloves. In addition, the brand PPE Request Form where hospitals, clinics, and non-profits can submit requests for the supplies they need most.
