RefrigiWear Contributes to Disaster Relief Efforts

— January 17, 2026 — World
RefrigiWear is contributing to disaster relief efforts in Western Alaska by providing a donation of its specialized industrial workwear. The value of this donation exceeds $18,000, and this initiative is made possible through a partnership with a local cooperative distributor named 6th Avenue Outfitters.

RefrigiWear's effort is a response to the devastation caused by Typhoon Halong. The specialized industrial workwear silhouettes include the Freezer Edge® Jackets, the Freezer Edge® Bib Overalls, and the Insulated Abrasion Safety Gloves. This product line is appropriate for temperatures as low as -30°F. The garments are also windproof and water-repellent.

For the first shipment of the specialized industrial workwear donation, RefrigiWear and 6th Avenue Outfitters are focusing on recovery crews in Western Alaska. The gear has also been sent to "Calista Corporation to support additional workers assisting with cleanup and rebuilding efforts throughout the region."
