Huawei's Kentucky Fried Chicken Phone Comes with Branded Apps

Huawei's new Kentucky Fried Chicken phone, available to consumers in China, gives users everything they could possibly hope for if they're serious fans of the American fried chicken chain. The branded phone comes with specialty KFC software including a delivery app and a music app.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken phone is clearly different from more standard Huawei options. Firstly, the phone's body is bright, KFC-red rather than steel grey or black. It also comes engraved with a picture of Colonel Sanders' iconic visage as well as the number "1987" in honor of the restaurant's first year in China.

The KFC delivery app is unique to the Kentucky Fried Chicken phone, but it isn't the only perk. The music app noted above isn't just a Spotify alternative — it lets users control the music playing in local KFC restaurants, serving as a mobile jukebox.
