Bound Armchair Artistry

These bound chairs are fun and enticing to look at thanks to Kennedy James. The New York-based artist is described by Sweet Stations as having "elevated bondage to a fine art form." I can't say I disagree as these images show just how beautiful a miniature doll house chair bound with highly saturated ropes can be.

My favorite of these Kennedy James pieces has got to be the Victorian-looking chair that's bound in pink ropes in a spiderweb pattern. It is elegant while still evocative of naughtier concepts.

Implications - Artists are predominantly groundbreaking when it comes to innovative concepts because their profession has a culture which encourages abstract thinking. Corporations looking to innovate should similarly adopt a culture of revolution that allows individuals to explore ideas unimpeded.
