Minimalist Meditative Dwellings

The K Residence by Yuuki Kitada is Contemporary and Calming

Yuuki Kitada Architect’s K Residence apartment in Brooklyn features a minimalist design that is both contemporary and calming. In addition to housing a meditation tunnel, the dwelling is also home to an LED-lit kitchen, an open living area and a spacious bedroom that fits with its serene theme.

The apartment's most iconic space is its long hallway located in its center plan. The space connects the dwelling's public and private areas and features a pyramid-shaped ceiling that is monumental and eye-catching in its design.

K Residence measures 1065 sq ft in size and is also accented with warm wood panels, sheer glass pieces and stone tile finishes that work with its natural and earthy visual aesthetic, a palette that is native to most spa themed interiors.
