This Juice Bottle Design is Inspired by the Structure of Flowers

— February 22, 2016 — Lifestyle
This juice bottle design concept is an example of biomimicry being applied to functional design. The design for the two-liter bottle is created in essence of the pistil structure of a flower, which is the point where the juice begins to form and as such, can be easily stacked as in a fridge for simple and convenient storage.

Flavors of SIS Natural juice included in the range are orange nectar, rose hip drink, apple nectar, tomato juice and multi-fruit nectar. All juices are free of preservatives, making the nature-inspired packaging design even more relevant. In addition to the natural shapes, each bottle features a label that boasts high resolution images of the fruit from which the nectar was sourced.
