When Jonathon Kambouris questioned the idea of the death penalty, he decided to capture his thoughts in the most unusual way.

The photographer used old photos of serial killers and incorporated images of food from their last meal into the pictures. The idea was to examine the relationship between people and food, using the last meal as a metaphor to question the death penalty. The images you see really are what the inmates ate before they died. These images are definitely creepy, but Jonathon Kambouris has found a unique way to channel his opinion into a creative outlet.
