Well now it has, thanks to California-based illustrator and comic artist Pablo Stanley.
For a song that has been so widely quoted for decades, it is a surprise that John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ had not yet made it to the illustrative world. Stanley wanted to illustrate the song and its touching lyrics, which coincides perfectly time-wise with the worrisome world events going on at the moment.
The message-filled cartoon strip touches upon topics of war, religion and peace and is beautifully colored and complete with lyrics of the song’s first chorus.
