FutureFlite will bring a long-range economy seat to APEX FTE EXPO in Singapore that integrates seating, onboard entertainment and passenger charging into a single offer for airlines. The package is aimed particularly at smaller and midsize carriers that want one supplier across more of a cabin program rather than separate seat and electronics vendors.
At booth 807, visitors will be able to sit in the seat and try its 13.3-inch screen, allowing airlines to assess passenger space and the digital layer together. FutureFlite is also handling certification coordination and delivery, which reduces handoffs during a cabin retrofit or new seating program.
One supplier for both the seat and its onboard electronics reduces engineering and purchasing strain for smaller carriers. That bundled approach widens access to digitally equipped economy cabins beyond airlines with large internal cabin teams.

Key Themes Behind This Trend
- Bundled Cabin Systems
- Integrated seating, entertainment and charging packages create room for suppliers to simplify retrofit complexity while expanding premium-feeling economy experiences for resource-constrained airlines.
- Digital Economy Upgrades
- Long-haul economy cabins with embedded screens and power access signal a shift toward baseline digital amenities becoming standard across smaller and midsize carriers.
- Single-supplier Retrofitting
- Consolidated certification, delivery and hardware coordination reduces operational friction in cabin modernization, opening space for more turnkey aviation interior models.
Where This Applies
- Commercial Aviation
- Airlines gain new pathways to modernize passenger cabins without relying on large internal engineering teams or fragmented vendor ecosystems.
- Aircraft Interiors
- Seat manufacturers that combine physical comfort with embedded electronics are reshaping how cabin products are specified, purchased and deployed.
- In-flight Entertainment
- Screen and charging technologies embedded directly into seat platforms point to new distribution models beyond standalone passenger experience systems.
