Plasticized Pastel Editorials

This Institute Magazine Editorial is Wonderfully Wigged Out

Typically, as fall approaches, many fashion spreads turn themes into dark-inspired shoots, however this Institute Magazine editorial rebelled and infused its shoot with pastel.

Model Rose is the focus in this spread and she is featured with a colorful wig on in each picture. The wig changes from long to short and from violet to pink. The clothes are a mix of light colors with pops of white added in, making the shoot seem light and airy. The most interesting feature is the amount of plastic used. Plastic is seen in accessories, jackets and skirts, which is different because it is not usually considered a comfortable material. Between the colors and the plastic, this Institute Magazine editorial resembled a revival of late 90s fashion.
