Mutuus Studio Designs the Supernova Nightclub in Seattle

The demand for safe and inclusive nightclubs has always been high as individuals from marginalized groups—Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, members who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and women—sought out ways to have fun without looking over their shoulders. Nowadays, this demand has reached a feverish pitch and designers are developing inclusive nightclub concepts like Supernova in Seattle.

Suppernova is a brand new nightclub that was established by DJ Zac Levine, in collaboration with local firm Mutuus Studio, GMD Custom, and several other artists, as "an inclusive art and entertainment space." The design of the space is breathtaking and maximalist—from a DJ booth centerpiece that is shaped like a hemispherical disco ball to an eye-catching hypnotic floor.
