Chocolate-Like Liqueur Packaging

Incense Chocolate is Actually Filled with Booze

Incense Chocolate is a type of liqueur, but the design agency Puigdemont Roca wanted to convey the name with its packaging. To do this, they used a design similar to ones found on chocolate wrappers, and incorporated it into the branding of the bottle.

The overall hue of the bottle is a dark, chocolaty brown, with square patterns and the name of the brand on the front. One would almost expect delicious chocolate to pour out the top instead of liqueur. According to the design agency, "screen-printing was used to get a great visual impact on shelves.” Considering most people are not used to seeing chocolate packaging on a liqueur shelf, it's easy to see how this design would do so well in the stores.
