Museum-Inspired Chocolate Boxes

CF 18 Chocolatier's Artisanal Chocolates Take Cues from Archives

CF18 Chocolatier's uniquely packaged artisanal chocolates are creatively packaged in a way that avoids the use of plastic and takes inspiration from museum archive systems. The company was founded by Christian Fredrik Furuholmen, who used to work as a civil engineer. As such, CF18 Chocolatier explores the intersection of geology and tooling work, and it offers its own perspective on the physical and chemical processes involved in changing the state of chocolate. This concept is carried through to an oval branding detail, which shares a look at some of the tools used by chocolatiers and geologists.

The colorful chocolates themselves take cues from stones and minerals, and are neatly packaged in materials like padded paper, foil and 100% recycled Eska board.
