Opal Nera recently refreshed its brand with new packaging to better reflect the uniqueness of its sambuca-based dark liqueur. The new design retains the brand's iconic bottle but appeals to the modern consumer with a design that communicates the fact that the product turns purple on contact with ice. Based on the idea of a "dark secret," the design also includes a code beneath the logo that can be deciphered with letters and numbers.
