IDS Toronto is the city's interior design show. It displays cutting edge ideas that are set to push the industry forward. One of the many interesting experiences that the event gave access to is an immersive installation by Dutch designer Marije Vogelzang.
The direction of the exhibit is incredibly captivating. After all, the experience entails "a journey narrated by a seed." Upon entering the food-based installation at IDS Toronto, individuals are prompted to eat one of two seeds. They are given a headset that delivers the seed's narration. The audience is able to survey a number of stations that are geared to activating different senses. For example, one that encourages smelling is equipped with freshly kneaded and cooked flatbreads.
