At 3daysofdesign 2025, Garde Hvalsøe presents an immersive exploration of materiality and craftsmanship with its Deltag showcase. Said to transcend conventional exhibition formats with its project, the Danish design house has transformed its showroom into a dynamic environment where visitors transition from passive observers to active participants in a carefully choreographed spatial experience.

Curated by renowned stylist Pernille Vest, the Deltag installation draws inspiration from hospitality environments, blending elements of boutique hotels, intimate cafés, and refined restaurants to create a setting where design objects are not merely displayed but integrated into functional scenarios. This approach allows visitors to engage with the pieces through tactile interaction — from sitting at tables and touching surfaces to using the space as one would in daily life. This ethos is captured in the exhibition title, which means 'participate' in Danish.
