On April 26th, the Seventeen ice cream vending machine was set up in Shibuya’s Marui City, giving people the chance to bust a move in exchange for one of 17 Seventeen ice cream brand treats.
The Dance Dance Revolution-like vending machine challenged people to choose a flavor and try to match the movements of up-and-coming star Ayami Muto onscreen, who wore a different color to represent each flavor. People that didn't have two left feet were rewarded with a tasty ice cream treat, as well as an animated video that digitized their dance movements.
Before getting a cool and refreshing treat from the vending machine, performing a choreographed dance is a pretty fun way to work up an appetite. Although the machine was only around for a day, hopefully it will make some more surprise appearances throughout the summer.
