New York-based MB Architecture designed and built the 'House in the Lanes,' a modern yet minimalist house in Amagansett, New York.
The home at first appears as though it is just a slab of raw and unfinished concrete, however when closer, it's unveiled that the actual structure is covered in an organic anti-termite material named cypress. The bright green garden in the front lawn acts as a contrast to the raw white exterior of the home, creating a contemporary feel. With concrete and wood as the two main materials, the design team decided to create a pop of color in all of the customized furniture.
The large windows on the House in the Lanes allow natural light to flood into each room, as well as a view of surrounding meadows and the luxurious pool in the backyard.
