Heatherwick Studio Created an Outdoor Variation of a Former Design

Heatherwick Studio, a multi-award winning design and architecture firm that' based out of Britain, unveiled a new iteration of its 'Spun' chair design.
This time intended for outdoor use, the creative design is constructed from a durable granite—allowing it to withstand all types of climates, including the tropical temperatures in Singapore that it was created with in mind. With their unique designs that are reminiscent of spinning tops, the chairs provide endless versatility and are able to accommodate solitude and relaxation, or social interaction. Although the heavy duty material must be attached to the ground for safety, users can position themselves in the seats in a variety of different ways.
Heatherwick Studio has already unveiled a number of other Spun chairs that make use of different materials, and plans to keep expanding on the design.
