With its mission to show couples that "your wedding can change lives," Heartful.ly is changing the gift registry game. Instead of appliances and linens, the online platform is giving couples an easy way to support their favorite causes.
Heartful.ly is a gifting platform started by a former Peace Corps Volunteer named Kate Glantz. Glantz felt that big life events such as weddings are great occasions to give back and thus created a platform that would make it easier for couples to do just that. All that couples need to do is set up a Heartful.ly registry, select one of the charitable projects from the platform's carefully vetted list, share the registry with guests, and then watch the donations roll in. After the wedding, both the couples and the guests will even receive an update on the project so they can see how their donations have made an impact.
