From carb-conscious and gluten-free options to vegan and diabetes-friendly meals, Sun Basket offers a range of different healthy meal plans to suit the needs of many different kinds of people. Now, Sun Basket is taking its offerings to the next level with a Health Advisory Board to support the food-as-medicine movement.

Sun Basket has outlined that "the goal of the Health Advisory Board is to help Sun Basket as it strives to develop healthy meal plans designed to address the three major health challenges where nutrition matters: diabetes, heart disease, and obesity"—collectively, these issues impact well over 100 million people. Sun Basket is currently testing a pilot program with a major insurance company, as well as partnerships with the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association and the American Cancer Society.
