Fieldwork Brewing's 'Hazy Train' India Pale Ale hits the mark for hazy IPAs
Instead of producing strong, bitter IPAs, a number of craft breweries are working to create hazy IPAs. When beer experts talk about a beer being hazy, they are referring to the clarity of the product. Sometimes this happens because the yeast didn't flocculate, other times it's because the brewmaster chose to use malts with a higher protein content. It can be hard to make a great hazy beer but Fieldwork's Hazy Train is an example of one that works really well.
With a citrus aroma, notes of honeydew melon, star fruit and a pale hazy appearance, this IPA is a well balanced and great tasting product.
