IKEA's Artisan Series is Made in Collaboration with Refugees

Following the announcements of the upcoming collaborations between IKEA and global designers and brands like Virgil Abloh, adidas, LEGO, Sonos and Saint Heron, the furniture brand launched a selection of beautifully handcrafted pillows that support a worthy cause. The Swedish megastore is partnering with the Jordan River Foundation, 50 refugees and 50 women to create sustainable job opportunities. Dubbed the 'TILLTALANDE' collection, the offering consists of gorgeous artisan-made handcrafted pillows that will accent any living space with artistic vigor.

The ethical and socially supportive initative is planned to expand through 2020, as "IKEA hopes to enlist 400 artisans to be a part of this effort." The handcrafted pillows and ottomans in the TILLTALANDE capsule meticulously fuse artistic style and traditional techniques to undoubtedly elevate the interior of homes.
