The H2O Building by Axis Mundi Architects Imitates Rippling Water
Katherinev123 — June 23, 2010 — Art & Design
Emulating the look of flowing water, the H2O building located in Barcelona, Spain, was created for the bottled water brand H2O.
The architects from Axis Mundi of New York were behind this rippling sensation, and designed the six-story H2O building to have a water-replicating facade, which will mimic the undulating pattern that can be found in waves. According to Dezeen, the facade will be “made of a polymer composite and suspended on a steel truss attached to the existing building.”
