Cubo Design Architect Creates the 10M Home Surrounding Light on Water

— January 8, 2026 — Art & Design
10M is a residence designed by Cubo Design that places emphasis on daylight penetration and the interplay between light, water, and spatial experience. The project situates the home adjacent to a water body, using expansive glazing and carefully oriented openings to draw natural light deep into the interior while establishing framed views of the reflective surface outside. The configuration of planes and voids enhances how light moves through the volumes throughout the day.

Living, dining, and private zones are arranged to maintain visual continuity toward the water, with materials chosen to support both thermal performance and visual warmth. Structural elements are calibrated to create generous overhangs and sheltered outdoor spaces that mediate sun exposure while strengthening indoor-outdoor connections. The design prioritizes spatial clarity and sensory engagement with the site’s natural qualities through careful modulation of light, water reflection, and form.
