Considering that e-readers are slowly taking over the print industry, it is engaging advertising like this that will evoke feelings of excitement, adventure and nostalgia about reading physical books.
Photographed by Alessandro Volpi, the Gonvill Campaign centers around fun and adorable portraits that take the book each person is reading and makes the experience real. Thanks to post production by Claudio Limon, this fantastical photoshoot is even more immaculate and impressive.
I also find it interesting that the Gonvill Campaign was also made into a calendar, with each photo representing a month of the year. This is definitely a creative way to drive the message home.
