AR Vacation Books

Kiss & Fly is an AR Book That Blends Media Types to Create Virtual Vacations

While some travel restrictions remain in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kiss & Fly offers homebound travelers a virtual vacation. Using print media and digital technology, the AR book features nine different locations. Travel enthusiasts can visit France, Brazil, Iceland, Mexico, Italy, Greece, India, Jordan, and other countries along the Mediterranean sea.

With a smartphone camera, the images come to life to showcase the beautiful landscapes and vacation spots worldwide. Photographed by the sister duo Lauren and Annael TOlila, the AR photos depict pure escapism. Kiss & Fly claims to be one of the world's first augmented reality coffee table books, boasting glossy images. This project is the first title produced by Studio 96.
