BFree Foods recently expended its line-up of allergen-free foods with the addition of gluten-free pita bread. Over the years, many brands have made a conscious effort to provide a greater range of options for those who suffer from common food allergies. This new line of pita bread caters to those with Coeliac disease, as well as those who have a sensitivity to gluten.
The new gluten-free pita from BFree Foods are baked in a stone-fired oven to recreate the authentic taste of Middle Eastern bread. Instead of white flour, the pita is made from a blend of buckwheat and corn flour. These particular types of flour ensure that the bread is flexible, but that it won't crack or crumble mid-meal. In addition to being made without gluten, the bread is also free from other common food allergens such as eggs, dairy, soy, wheat and nuts. As a result, the pita is ideal for those who adhere to a restricted diet.
