VIDA recently launched an all-new glass bottle design for its tequila products that is meant to express the artful elegance of the tequila-making process.
In order to combat stereotypical views of Mexico and consumers seeing the alcohol as one to be quickly consumed as a shot, VIDA's shapely new bottle is said to draw inspiration from "the red soil unique to the highlands of Arandas, the sharp Tequila Weber Blue Agave leaves, the shape of the coa tool, the pattern left on the piña, the curve of the oak barrels."
While VIDA Blanco is tangy and peppery, Reposado is described as "sweet, smooth and honeyed," best for pairing with margaritas and cocktails. The third product that is packaged in the new angular glass bottle design is VIDA Añejo, which is aged for up to 24 months in American Oak whiskey barrels for a full-bodied flavor and smooth finish.
