The Givz app is a philanthropic venture that is designed to encourage individuals in North America to give to the causes they care about. The application proves to be quite accessible. Founded by a former investment banker, the platform is available to Android and Apple users and it gives them access to more than 1.6 million registered charities in the United States. This includes big names like Habitat for Humanity and Charity:Water and lesser-known ones like the Innocence Project.
The Givz app is designed to inspire donations on the micro-scale, encouraging people to give little but consistently, which can amount to a big sum if you have a sizable following. Their median, however, is $40 USD. The payment process "works exactly as it does anywhere else on the internet," yet the platform surely boasts an innovative approach.
