We live in a world dominated by awesome GIFs, so it only seems practical to create a map that tracks down all the GIF artists in the world. Alessandro Scali and Okkult Motion Pictures explore the world of GIFography with a creative catalog of the world's GIF artists.

The 'GIF Artists World Map' lets the viewer zoom in and out of regions all over the globe to see where each artist is located. The map also provides with with a sample of the artists artwork and the necessary links for their work.

The project is not over and asks GIF artists who have not be added to contact Scali. Its about GIF artists were celebrated for their work; their art may be very modern, but is still ingenious and worth spreading around.
