Vibrant Interactive Digital Artworks

Yinka Ilori Partnered with Google Arts & Culture Lab

British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori has partnered with Google Arts & Culture Lab to create his first interactive digital artwork — 'Dreaming with Flamingos.' This project blends Ilori’s Nigerian heritage, storytelling, and vibrant artistic style with cutting-edge AI technology to craft a unique, immersive experience.

Set in a 3D digital playground inspired by a real-life flamingo-themed park in Barking, London, Dreaming with Flamingos invites users to play as a young flamingo tasked with restoring a park’s lost song. Through solving riddles, players unlock a dynamic soundtrack influenced by West African instruments, which is generated using Google’s MusicLM AI model. Completing levels rewards users with collectible digital artworks that are created using AI trained on Ilori’s signature designs.

Yinka Ilori's interactive digital artwork explores themes of memory, community, and joy through merging ancient folklore with modern innovation to create an accessible and engaging experience for all.
