This unique gas station home is located in Berlin and has been transformed into a chic modern home with accents of retro themes. The homeowner purchased the abandoned gas station in 2005, although it had already been unused since 1985.
The dwelling has been completely transformed into a fully functioning home. The homeowner used many of the original aspects of the structure including the freestanding roof, which was used to cover the pumps. This area was turned into a quaint and sheltered garden. The interior even utilizes the furniture that had been left there.
With a set of chairs, tables and lamps from the 1950s, this unique gas station home is a creative one-of-a-kind housing unit. The abode also supports the idea of transforming existing structures into usable spaced opposed to completely building new ones.
