To promote the new 100% Fresh Beef Quarter Pounder, McDonald's teamed up with social media phenomenon Kirby Jenner to launch 'The Frylus' on National Selfie Day.
The McDonald's x Kirby Jenner collaboration introduces an artful 60-second film that presents a solution to the dilemma of having to choose between enjoying a burger to its fullest—mess and all—or keeping one's fingers clean to take the perfect selfie. The Frylus comes in as a fry-shaped stylus device that can be used to keep one's mobile device free from the inevitable mess that comes with eating the burger.
On National Selfie Day, those who purchase the new Quarter Pounder will be eligible to receive a Frylus at participating restaurants across the United States, where supply permits.
