Artificial intelligence is a key part of the start-up's subscription service, as Freda uses it to determine the appropriate time for a customer's next box of products to be delivered.
As founder Affi Parvizi-Wayne describes, "Traditional subscription services are all built on a monthly basis which is, 12 per year, as opposed to a menstrual cycle basis (on average 28 days per cycle approximating 13 per year)." Freda's algorithm helps to predict a user's average cycle length over time, since these cycles naturally fluctuate.
