Known for creating artwork with fractured pieces, artist Micaela Lattanzio has unveiled a new installation showcasing fragmented portraits that she created.
Designed for the 'Royal Caribbean' collection, the installation is appropriately titled 'Fragmenta' -- which translates into 'fragments' in English. The works of art feature photos of women covered in floral artwork as the main subject, but these images are deconstructed and form hexagonal shapes that appear to float away from the largest fraction of the murals. As the fragments break away from the portraits, they are structured in a way that makes them appear as though they are floating.
These fragmented portraits work to form a unique artistic installation that only Micaela Lattanzio is capable of creating.
