The Baggage Claim Mirrors capture airport carousel motion in layered colored glass through a design by Müge Kahraman that turns luggage loops into sculptural mirror pieces. The collection includes two standing formats, Baggage Claim-O and Baggage Claim-I, along with a smaller Baggage Claim-M for desks and vanities. Each one is constructed from mirror glass segments that overlap and reflect light in motion, set into a colored MDF base. Colorways like Marine, Forest, and Rose give each mirror its own atmosphere, shifting in tone depending on placement and surrounding light.
Rather than function as ordinary mirrors, the pieces introduce optical layering and graphic silhouettes that feel architectural. They distort and redirect reflections in a way that blends art with utility. The circular and oval shapes soften the visual density, while the stack of tinted fragments hints at movement, memory, and time. The result is both a reflective surface and a sculptural object rooted in the language of travel.
