Dynamic Structural Mirror Designs

Béton Brut Designs the Mirror 001 and the Mirror 002

Multidisciplinary firm Archive for Space works together with London-based design imprint Béton Brut on a set of wall-mounted mirrors. There are two mirrors comprised of the collaboration and each one is made from stainless steel materials with a silver metallic finish. 001 can be placed in either landscape or portrait variations or suspended from the ceiling or walls with four standard sizes. 002 comes in two standard sizes and four hanging orientations.

The brand shares, "Mirror 001 treats stainless steel with fabric-like fluidity. Rolled hems allow the mirror to be hung on two slim wires, trading the stiffness of metal for a sense of weightlessness and gentle movement. Mirror 002 has a kidney-shaped form that challenges the industrial character of stainless steel. The frame, which protrudes for a dynamic profile, is brushed to juxtapose the polished steel mirrored surface."
