Ford-Owned Spin Announces New Global Integration with Google Maps

Ford-owned Spin has announced a recent partnership with Google Maps that will allow users of the app to discover Spin e-scooters and e-bikes when planning their routes. Available in 84 cities and towns throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, this new Google Maps function will make it easy for commuters to locate Spin vehicles and participate in the company's bike-share platform.

Google Maps users can expect a fully integrated Spin feature, which will display the availability of Spin vehicles in real-time providing information regarding the time it will take to walk to a given e-scooter or e-bike, expected arrival times, and expected prices. “With this integration, Spin is making it easier for hundreds of millions of Google Maps users to easily incorporate shared bikes and scooters into their daily trips,” said the CEO of Spin. Ben Bear.
