The ability for packaged food to maintain freshness has been a main selling point for decades; however, the backlash against processed foods has consumers avoiding the canned food aisles. The Sonoco 'TruVue' food package design hopes to reinvigorate interest in packaged foods to bring the supermarket into a new era that focuses on brand transparency and product freshness.
