Designed by Hongyang Sun and Xiuhua Zhang, the Double Food Bag allows one to enjoy a bag of nuts and dispose of the shells in the same bag without mixing them with the uneaten snack. The bag features a main section that holds the nuts or other snacks and features an additional section on the side that allows the waste to be stored within. This helps keep the snacking process clean without having to wonder where to place the organic refuse.

Although designed for chestnuts and other shelled nuts, the Double Food Bag shows promise as an effective solution to be used by stores and other retailers. The incorporation of the additional section could allow for napkins, cutlery or even promotional material to be slipped in.
