The name of the ORIGAMI House is due entirely to its folded roof. Taking on the structured shape of such Japanese paper art, it is hard not to make the comparison even if it wasn't spelled out for the viewer. The folded roof is a great modern touch that turns the home into a stunning place to live.

Instilling envy in all the neighbors surrounding it, the folded roof of the ORIGAMI House was designed by TSC Architects. Created for a young couple and located in the Mie Prefecture of Japan, it boasts a sharp peak as well as lots of windows to let natural light seep in. In a way, the folded roof also resembles a pitched tent.d-roof
