Toto's 'Floatation Tub' Recreates Floatation Therapy at Home

Japanese brand Toto's new Floatation Tub makes it possible for consumers to enjoy a floatation therapy treatment from the comfort of their own home.

To create the Floatation Tub, Toto claims that it conducted more than 100 tests to create a supportive form for bathers to lie in. In the same way that one would go to a floatation treatment center for the purposes of relaxation, the unique form of the tub was designed to trigger a relaxation response in the body. The Floatation Tub includes an adjustable pillow, as well as water jets that boast massage features.

The all-new bathtub from Toto has been introduced to appeal to high-end consumers in Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Asia.
