Designers Ikegaya Yuko and Osawa Kaori introduce the special 'Flat Tap' wall-attached sink faucet, swaying away from the traditional ones that are found in public restrooms. The Flat Tap is fitted to a wall panel and features technological infrared sensors built-in to initiate a smooth waterfall-like water stream that gently cleans hands and is visually appealing.
It is specifically designed to function as a communal public sink and can function multiple flows at a time to tend to busy crowds if necessary. The entire Flat Tap wall panel features smaller outlets that seamlessly stream water out wherever a guest decides to stand. Notably, the sink basin also as a slight slope that quickly drains all of the fallen water flow.
