Fashionably Felt Chairs

The 'Felt Series' Introduces the Soft Textile to the Design World

If you've ever wondered what felt chairs would feel like, this archetypical new collection of all-gray felt home pieces by designers -- husband and wife -- Reed and Delphine Krakoff was made with you in mind.

The 'Felt Series' was created for Britain-based furniture brand Established & Sons and includes a collection of furniture made from the matted wool material that is so popular in the fashion world. The felt furniture collection was recently unveiled at Milan Design Week 2014, and is definitely going to start a trend using this soft texture in the future. The minimal looking collection includes a four-legged chair, a stool and a bench.

"Designing a chair isn't that much different from designing a fashion collection. It's still just about telling a story through shape, color and form," says Krakoff about the new collection.
