Pet-inspired Bike Racks

Accommodating pets on bicycles can often be dangerous or cumbersome, two things that the Fairdale Dograck hopes to remedy. Taking the success of its Fairdale Skaterack, the company has come up with a solution that is better than both a basket and trailer. Borrowing elements and existing parts from the Skaterack, the Fairdale Dograck (and Catrack) simply juts out from the back side of a bicycle like a shelf that the pet can be laid belly down on.

Since the Fairdale Dograck is not breed or even animal specific, it can carry just about any species that doesn't fall through the middle. Furthermore, it is placed behind the pedal stroke of the rider for maximum heel clearance.
