The crowdfunding campaign is currently live on Makauke, a Japanese website similar to Kickstarter and Indiegogo. The bike retails for ¥139,860, or roughly $1,000 USD. For this price, customers receive a compact e-bike powered by a 400-watt electric motor and a removable 15 Ah battery. These specs result in a top speed of 35 kph, or roughly 22 mph, and a range of 40km, or roughly 24 miles.
