Absolut's Facebook Messenger Chatbot Treats Users to a Free Drink

There are now dozens of Facebook Messenger chatbots that make it possible for social media users to do everything from find the latest news, place a fast food order or discover the local weather forecast in a fun way. Now, Absolut has created a bot of its own that will treat Facebook Messenger users to a free drink.

The bot is designed to help users find a place to get a drink, suggest a cocktail and provide a code that an be redeemed at the bar for a free beverage. To complete the service, the Absolut bot also gives drinkers the chance to get a ride home through Lyft.

As of now, the Absolut chatbot is only operating in Denver, New York, Chicago and Dallas, giving consumers the chance to get a taste of drinks like the Absolut Lemon drop, Absolut mule or Absolut and soda.
