Unbundled Social Network Apps

The Facebook app has officially turned into Facebook apps. Note the plural. The social network is currently unbundling its smartphone service in order to encourage people to interact with it in a different way. By doing so, Facebook apps are on the verge of taking over socializing on a deeper level.

Part of the Creative Labs initiative, an internal incubator tasked with creating single-serving Facebook apps, it first began with Paper. As people begin to phase out of using Facebook in its original form, it is commendable that the company has come up with a way to still stay relevant. Through Facebook apps, some of which won't even boast Facebook's branding, the company will entice more users.
